# Google Partner Account & Geodata Uploader

### Google Partner Account Creation

You should use your City of Austin email to sign up as a Google Content Partner, as you will receive messages from Staff regarding your uploads. Google also requires partners to list their employers, or affiliated organizations to ensure the data being submitted is authoritative.

Once you have created your Google Partner Account, you can upload data to Google Maps.
