Create a Trouble Ticket
2. Below Asset Management click Signals
3. Search for the signal you are working on. You can search by street name, landmark, or traffic signal ID.
4. In the search results, click Details
to open the signal details.
5. Review the signal details and verify that this is correct location. Scroll down the page until you see Work Orders section.
6. Below the Work Order table, choose the Problem Reported from the drop-down menu, and click Create New Work Order

7. Finish the work-order creation process by completing all of the fields on the following page.
a. Lead Technician
The name of the lead technician assigned to the job. If you are creating the trouble ticket for yourself, choose your own name.
b. Support Technician(s)
The names of any technicians that are providing support for the job
c. Already On-Site
If the lead technician is already at (or has already left) the job location, choose Yes.
d. Problem Details
Any additional details about the problem that has been reported.
e. Reported By
The department or agency that has reported the problem.
f. CSR #
If the problem has been reported 311, a CSR # is required.
8. Click Create Work Order
to create the work order.
Complete a Trouble Ticket
1. Login: http://transportation.austintexas.io/data-tracker/#home/
2. Under Field Operations and Inventory, click on My Work Orders

Work order assigned to you will appear in the table below My Work Orders. Click Details
the next to the work order you need to complete.

4. From the Work Order page, scroll down to the Time Log section, and complete the fields required to add a new log entry. Click Add Log Entry to add your time log entry

5. Note: You can click on a cell in the Time Log table to edit that entry.

6. Complete the Problem Found and Action Taken fields. If follow-up is needed, check the Follow-up Needed box. Click the Save Work Details button

7. When you are ready to submit your work order to your supervisor, click the Submit Work Order button at the top of the page
