SSPR Planning Creation | Supervisor

To make the SSPR Planning creation process more efficient, it is suggested to have a prior planning document ready to copy over
Creating SSPR | Supervisor
1. Go to Forms tab, click Staff Forms
2. Click on Details icon under "Success Strategy Performance Reviews | SSPRs" table
4. Select the SSPR Type "Planning" from the choice list
5. Select the name of the employee that the SSPR review is for on the Employee Name field
Tip: Begin typing the employee's name in the field at the top of the drop down to narrow the list down until you see their name.
6. Select the name of the supervisor for the SSPR review on the Supervisor Name field
Tip: Begin typing your name in the field at the top of the drop down to narrow the list down until you see your name.
7. Select the fiscal year from the Fiscal Year field 8. Use the date picker to select a Plan Start Date that the SSPR is beginning
9. Click the Create button below the form
Filling out SSPR details | Supervisor
1. When you click Create, the form will open into the SSPR Details page
2. Click the Edit SSPR link if you want to update the City of Austin Vision section or the main SSPR details
This is where having your prior planning document will come in handy, for the Department Goals and Activities

Department/Division Program(s) related to position
Department/Division Activity(s) related to position
3. When complete, click Submit at the bottom of the form
Fill in SSPR Contents
You are now ready to schedule the "Planning" meeting with your employee. At the end of this meeting, here is how you will sign the document.
Add SSPR Meeting
A notification will appear on this page remind you that when you add a SSPR Meeting record that the SSPR status will automatically be set to an "Employee Feedback Status"
Planning Meeting - Version
1. Click + Add SSPR Meeting button to open a new form
2. Select Meeting Type and use the drop-down to select the appropriate type
If SSPR Planning Meeting was selected a list of acknowledgements must be reviewed and checked. Check all that apply.
I verify that I have discussed:
[ ] Major job responsibilities, competencies and performance expectations including but not limited to the contents of this SSPR plan
[ ] Employee development plan
[ ] Department policies and procedures regarding workplace safety
3. Use the date picker to select the Meeting Date that the SSPR meeting took place
4. When complete, click Submit at the bottom of the form
After you have signed the SSPR, the employee will need to log on to the Human Resources application and also sign the SSPR.
