From the project's summary page, click the Map tab
A project's map is defined by components, which are the various improvements that will be constructed as result of this project.
The panel on the left-hand side of the screen lists all of the project's components. Click any component in the panel to view more details, as well as to reveal the Delete and Edit buttons. Clicking the magnifying glass next to each component's name will cause the map to zoom to that component.
To create a new component, click the New Component button at the top of the left panel. Select the Component Type you wish to create, and complete additional fields as needed.
Note that the type of features that will be mapped (point or line) will be determined by the component you choose.
Click the continue button to move on to the task of mapping the component.
To map the component, zoom in until the map reveals dotted lines (if mapping a line component) or gray intersection dots (if mapping a point component).
Add map features to your component by clicking on them. The features you select will be highlighted in yellow.
As well, you may use the draw icon in the top-right corner of map to manually draw a map feature.
Click the Save button to save your component.
