Roles and permissions

  • Viewer - view all projects

  • Editor - view and edit all projects, create projects,

  • Admin - view and edit all projects, create projects, view users, add and edit users

Create a new user account

  1. Log in as an admin, and navigate to .

  2. Fill out First Name, Last Name, Title, and Email. Email must be all lowercase.

  3. Follow the "Moped password formula" instructions in 1Password to generate a password.*

  4. Select a workgroup.

  5. Select a role and leave Status as "Active".

  6. Click the Save button. You will be returned to the page.

  7. Add the user to the .

  8. Send the user a welcome email based on .

*Please don't reuse passwords or save new ones in 1Password! 😉

Inactivate a user

To inactivate a user, click the red "Inactivate user" button on their account page. This will

  • Remove their Cognito account and wipe their password so they can't log in by either of those means.

  • Prevent their name from appearing as an option in the "Team" table.

  • Prevent their name from appearing on the Staff page by default.

The user's existing projects, comments, and edits will be preserved.

Reactivate a user

  1. Follow the "Moped password formula" instructions in 1Password to generate a password and fill that in.

  2. Click the green "Activate user" button.

*Please don't reuse passwords or save new ones in 1Password! 😉

To reactivate a user's account, click the "Show Inactive Accounts" toggle on the page. Click the pencil to the left of the user's name.
